Mediation Fees

Clerksroom Mediation Fees are  Simple and Transparent
 
We like to keep things simple. Our aim is to ensure our mediation costs are clear and transparent, so there are no hidden extras. All of our mediators are self employed, so they are independent. You can choose the mediator.

£500 + VAT per party - Bronze Mediation Package

  • Full day mediation from 10am to 5pm
  • Certified mediator 
  • Designed for claims up to £80,000 in value 
  • Includes administration fee
  • Includes appropriate preparation
  • Two Rooms included at one of our Mediation venues (London,Birmingham,Taunton,Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester or Leeds) or our mediators can attend any venue that the parties arrange
  • High quality, cost effective service
  • Choose from a junior mediator (0-25 mediations to date) for the day
    or you can request 4 hours with a senior mediator (25-50 mediations undertaken to date)

£1250 + VAT per party - Silver Mediation Package 

  • Full day mediation from 10am to 5pm 
  • Certified mediator 
  • Designed for claims with a value of £80,000 to £250,000 
  • Includes administration fee 
  • Includes appropriate preparation

  • High quality, cost effective service

£1750 + VAT per party - Gold Mediator Package 

  • Full day mediation from 10am to 5pm 
  • Certified mediator of Elite level status (50+ mediation experience) 
  • Designed for claims over £250,000 
  • Includes administration fee 
  • Includes appropriate preparation

  • Catering (Tea, Coffee, Water and Sandwich lunch) for up to 5 people per party
  • High quality cost effective service

The alternative – we will provide a quote 

  • Mediator of your choice or we provide 3 options based on your requirements
  • Mediation times to suit you 
  • Certified mediator from the National Mediator Database (http://nmd.clerksroom.com) 
  • Any value of claim 
  • Catering as required 
  • High quality service 
  • We can work to any budget or provide a quote

The above fees do not include the following additional costs:

  1. Any “additional agreed preparation time if required”, 
  2. Catering, if required (such as lunches/sandwiches) other than Gold Package.
  3. Overtime past 5pm (if the parties wish to continue and the mediator agrees). If the parties continue into the night, hotel or travel costs may be incurred: that should be discussed and agreed at the time.
Selecting a Mediator.         
                                                   
If you would like to select a Mediator, please view our profile database and we will provide you with availability and a fee quote for the Mediator of your choice.
 
Appointing a Mediator.     
 
We have extensive knowledge of our Mediator database and are always happy to act as appointing body if the parties are unable to agree a Mediator.
 
Levels of Mediator.
  • Observer & Trainee– Plays no part in the mediation
  • Junior Mediator – undertaken up to 25 mediations to date
  • Senior Mediator – undertaken up to 50 mediations to date
  • Elite Mediator Status – undertaken over 50 mediations to date with feedback all positive.
