Tina has an extensive background in international financial and commercial contract negotiations on transactions up to £1 billion. She uses a mediation approach that draws upon her fourteen years’ experience as a corporate and project finance adviser on Wall Street and at City financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Flemings (now JP Morgan) and Close Brothers. She has advised a range of blue-chip corporate clients on multi-party, multi-national negotiations around the world, primarily for industrial and infrastructure projects in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.
Tina brings to mediation the financial creativity she employed in leading these complex financial negotiations, helping the parties - major corporations, government ministries, banks, development agencies, etc. - to craft the most mutually advantageous solutions. Her natural ability to rapidly understand the underlying issues and to bring objective clarity to the discussions, provide a strong basis for successfully resolving disputes in a variety of environments. In addition, Tina’s international experience enables her to mediate with particular sensitivity to cultural differences.
Tina has particular experience in the following areas:
Tina is an SPCP-accredited mediator and a member of the Civil Mediation Council. She is fluent in French.
"I have co-mediated several financial disputes with Tina. Her people skills are exceptional - she understands how to build good relationships quickly with the decision makers. Combined with that, her powers of analysis of complex issues, and talent for seeing through them towards resolution, are outstanding. Tina's deal-making background in international project finance translates wonderfully to the mediation process." Alistair Pye, mediator
